It’s Christmas Eve. There is a lot of good energy around us. There are the colored lights on the trees outside our window. There is a faint glow from the lights on the balcony. There is the quiet light of the lamp by my bedside. The day was happy. We spent it together with animals and music. The children are asleep now, excited for what Santa will bring. We’ve hidden a present in the chimney. We’ve cloaked the floor with gifts. There will be pancakes and cousins and uncles and aunts and grandparents in the morning. What could be better?
It all reminds me of goodness and gladness and gratitude.
