Felt/Fire/Fir

Daylight savings ended today. I was excited to get to work early on some felting because Robert created a large clean felting station for me. Here’s the natural merino laid out ready to wet.

Orion was getting in a lot of trouble playing with the girls, so I enlisted his help.

It was so cool outside that we decided to have a fire for the first time in this house. We even had marshmallows to roast. The kids loved it.

Besides creating a felting station, Robert cleaned out the garage and finished the kitchen.

One more close up (check out the clear grain fir backsplash; gorgeous!):

Jenny and the girls came for a walk in the canyon to collect pine cones, we fed Velvet and turned her out, and I made one other felt panel with the dark merino I found on Local Harvest. More to come Monday~
