Pork

While reading James’ blog on pigs and pork in general, I realized that I’m living in an intellectual vortex. I’m both amazed by and irritated with technology’s ability to superimpose good old fashioned face to face dialogue. Maybe it’s the traffic, or the endless pursuit of personal wealth, the ever-failing attempt to perfect physical appearance, or the combination of these and other factors that’s killed Southern California’s community. Whatever it is, I’m still aching to be talking pork at the Quimby table.
